ESPN said Dan Orlovsky continues to appear on flagship programs including “NFL Live” and “Get Up,” where he provides film-based analysis and commentary alongside former players, coaches, and reporters. His segments often focus on quarterback mechanics and decision-making, drawing on his experience as a longtime NFL backup and spot starter.
Dan Orlovsky played in the NFL for 12 seasons with teams including the Detroit Lions, Houston Texans, Indianapolis Colts, and Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He entered broadcasting following his retirement and quickly became a full-time analyst, initially working as a college football color commentator before transitioning primarily to NFL coverage.
Network executives have credited Orlovsky’s on-air role with adding detailed tactical insight to ESPN’s football programming, particularly during high-profile matchups and playoff coverage. His analysis is also widely shared across digital and social platforms, expanding the reach of ESPN’s NFL content.
