Omah Lay

Nigerian singer Stanley Omah Didia (Ikwerre, May 30, 2000) is known for his stage name Omah Lay. Omah comes from a musical family, and his grandfather played instruments for the singer Celestine Ukwu before he died in 1977. Omah Lay’s father also played the drums. Didia started in a rap group under the stage name Lil King. He later moved into songwriting and music production, which went largely without credit, and as a result, he released his own album in April 2019 called ‘Do Not Disturb’. He later released the song ‘Bad Influence,’ which became the most streamed Nigerian song on Apple Music at the end of 2020. Besides this, he is also known for tracks like ‘Understand’ and ‘Damn’.
