Dutch-Surinamese singer Gio was born and raised in Utrecht, in a home that was always filled with music. Gio released his first album, aptly named First, back in 2005. He’s since collaborated with lots of artists including Ali B and The Partysquad, with whom he made I’m Sorry, Dit Gaat Fout and Dat Is Die Shit. 2022 marks the release of yet another excellent album by Gio in Dutch: Herboren. Expect Gio to perform a mix of classic and recent tracks.
