Alan Fitzpatrick

Alan Fitzpatrick (Southampton, July 9, 1982) is a British music producer and techno DJ. Alan grew up with funk and soul thanks to his father, before getting into pop music in the ’80s and finally the dance music culture through the rave and acid house scene. Becoming a dedicated clubber, he discovered techno and started to learn to make his own. Alan Fitzpatrick’s career began in 2009 when he released his EP Static/Rubix on the Swedish music label Drumcode. A year later, in 2010, he produced the music label’s first album under the name Shadows in the Dark. In the following years, Fitzpatrick continued to release EPs. His tracks have been played by the likes of Carl Cox, Adam Beyer and Len Faki. Alan is an integral part of the contemporary techno scene. His most famous tracks are ‘We Do What We Want’ and ‘Haven’t You Heard’.
