Ronell Langston Plasschaert (Capelle aan den IJssel, April 16, 1992), known professionally as Ronnie Flex, is a Dutch hip hop performer and rapper. Ronell has a Surinamese mother and a Moluccan-Dutch father. He grew up with his mother since his father left for America to work as a producer. Ronnie started creating music at 14 years old. He got his first hit “Soldaatje” in 2012 together with fellow rapper Mr. Polska. In 2014, the video of his song “Zusje” was the fourth most viewed video in the Netherlands. After that, he released several well-known albums and singles, including “Drank & Drugs”. This song was made in collaboration with dutch rapper Lil’ Kleine, which achieved first place in the Top 100 and remained in the chart for a total of 35 weeks.
