One of the biggest stars of the Nigerian afrobeats scene, Wizkid (July 16, 1990) became known to most of the world with a bang when he released “One Dance” with Drake, a smash hit that topped the charts in no less than 14 countries around the world. The song broke several records which caused Wizkid to become the first afrobeats artist ever to appear in the Guinness Book of Records. Many collaborations followed with artists including Calvin Harris, Beyoncé and Justin Bieber. In February 2021 Wizkid passed an incredible milestone when he became the most streamed Nigerian artist of all time. Wizkid is a true phenomenon and not to be missed!
