Purple Disco Machine is the stage name of Tino Piontek (Dresden, 1980), a German disco and house music producer and DJ. Tino’s father taught him a lot about music at a young age, western rock music in his case. In 1996, Tino started producing his own tracks. At the same time, he discovered house music during club nights in Dresden. He decided to pursue his DJ career and in 2012 his first productions appeared. He began touring internationally and in 2017 his debut album ‘Soulmatic’ was released. In 2020, he created the hit ‘Hypnotized’, featuring vocals from Sophie and the Giants. In the same year, he produced the official remixes of Dua Lipa’s ‘Don’t Start Now’ and Lady Gaga’s ‘Rain on Me’.
